Key Responsibilities
- Prepare Letters of Offer for secured credit facilities in accordance with approved credit applications and bank policies.
- Prepare and process documentation relating to variations and amendments of existing secured credit facilities.
- Conduct completeness and accuracy checks on credit files to ensure all required documentation and approvals are in place.
- Coordinate the appointment and documentation requirements of external law firms, valuers, and relevant stakeholders.
- Perform documentation reviews and checks to ensure proper execution of mortgage and security documents.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and operational risk controls.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external service providers to resolve documentation and operational issues promptly.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system enhancements, process improvement initiatives, and project implementation activities.
- Identify process gaps and contribute to operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare reports, track issues, and support management in ad hoc assignments as required.
Requirements
- Diploma in Business, Finance, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Credit Operations, Secured Lending Operations, Mortgage Operations, or a similar function within a bank or financial institution.
- Good understanding of consumer banking products, secured lending products, and end-to-end operational workflows.
- Experience in preparing and reviewing credit and loan documentation within a banking environment.
- Knowledge of mortgage documentation, security documentation, and related operational processes.
- Excellent attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy and quality consciousness.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Adaptable, resourceful, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
